Bookings Terms and Conditions

Please note that all bookings with an arrival date OUTWITH the Government stated lockdown, i.e., when premises are allowed to open and guests are allowed to travel*, are covered by our standard Cancellation policy (see below). If however the lockdown period is extended to a date beyond your departure date, we will move your booking to a suitable date in the future**, or provide you with a voucher to the value of your existing booking, or provide a refund. Bookings that have been moved to a later date due to Covid 19 restrictions are, once moved, subject to our Standard Terms and Conditions.

* Travel to destinations not covered by a geographical limit, i.e. no distance restrictions are in place ** Depending on availability.

It is of utmost importance that should you feel unwell with Covid symptoms prior to travel, you MUST NOT travel to your destination. If you feel unwell during your stay, you must make plans to travel home immediately. Should that not be possible, and you need to extend your stay with us, you will be liable for the cost of the additional nights. If your stay is cut short due to you experiencing Covid symptoms, you will not be eligible for a refund.

Reservations are from 16.00 p.m. on day of arrival until 10.00 a.m. on day of departure.

During Covid 19 pandemic restrictions, and while enhanced cleaning protocols are in place, arrival is from 4pm and checkout is before 10am.

Bookings by persons under 21 years of age cannot be accepted.

A reservation only becomes confirmed when a deposit is received by  Loch Lomond Castle Lodges.

Initial Deposit

When making a reservation, an initial deposit of the cost of the first night is required, this is part of the full rental charge. Note that all deposits are non refundable. The outstanding balance must be paid one month prior to arrival.

If a booking is made one month or less before the tenancy is due to commence, the full cost must be paid at the time the booking is made. We accept PayPal, bank transfers, cheques and cash. Cheques should be made out to Loch Lomond Castle Lodges.

Balance Payment

If the balance payment has not been paid by the due date (i.e. one month before arrival) we reserve the right to cancel the booking, in which case the deposit will not be refunded.
